An intimate weekend gathering. Space is intentionally limited.
You spend so much of your life being a resource for everyone else.
Tending. • Planning. • Remembering. • Caring. • Carrying.
You hold the details.
You anticipate what people need.
You make sure things happen.
And somewhere inside all of that responsibility, you can lose touch with what it feels like to simply receive.

Everything is an invitation. You are always welcome to participate, rest, wander, journal, sit by the fire ~ or simply listen to what your body is asking for.

Through gentle movement, breath, embodiment, sauna and spacious rest, we'll invite the nervous system toward a slower rhythm.
Not another thing to accomplish.
Not another way to improve yourself.
Simply an invitation to soften out of doing and return to yourself.

Herbal wisdom, Human Design, ritual, ceremony and reflection become invitations ~ not to give you more answers from outside yourself...
but to create enough quiet to hear what's already within you.
Forest walks, changing leaves, crisp air, the element of fire and the rhythms of late autumn.
Shared meals, meaningful conversation, laughter and the kind of connection that unfolds when women gather without needing to perform.
Space to notice what you've been carrying, what you're ready to lay down, and what you want to carry forward.

Space to wander.
Space to journal.
Space to talk.
Space to rest.
Space to stare into the fire.
And yes...
Space to do absolutely nothing.

Lyssy is a Vitalist Herbalist and founder of Vital Vessel Herbs, whose work is rooted in the understanding that our well-being is inseparable from our relationship with the earth, our bodies, our communities, and the seasons of our lives.
From her home at Harvest Hill Homestead and Retreat in the hills of Southern Vermont, Lyssy tends a full apothecary, grows and crafts herbal medicines, works one-to-one with clients, and offers Abhyanga, seasonal apprenticeships, council circles, and retreats.
Her approach to herbalism reaches beyond simply asking, “What herb is good for this?” Instead, she invites a deeper relationship with the whole person ~ their rhythms, patterns, environment, nourishment, and the wisdom already moving within them.
At Rooted & Resourced, Lyssy brings the medicine of the plants, the land, the seasons, and her deeply grounded way of tending.
There is a season for growing and giving ~and there is also a season for gathering inward, replenishing, and receiving.

Heather is the founder of Joyful Choice Wellness and has spent much of her life's work accompanying people through transitions ~ the moments when who we've been begins to shift and something new is asking to emerge.
Her work weaves together transformational coaching, Human Design, somatic and embodiment practices, breathwork, ritual, and the wisdom gained from years of sitting beside individuals and families through aging, caregiving, grief, dying, and profound life change.
At the heart of Heather's work is a belief that we don't always need another answer from outside ourselves. Sometimes we need enough space, safety, and stillness to hear what we already know.
At Rooted & Resourced, Heather invites women out of the constant rhythm of doing and back into relationship with their bodies, their inner knowing, and their own unique way of moving through the world.
Her work isn't about becoming a better version of yourself. It's about creating the conditions to remember the woman who is already there.
Our paths into this work are different, but they meet in a shared understanding:
The body holds wisdom.
The earth holds wisdom.
Gathering holds medicine.
Rest is not something we have to earn.
Sometimes what we need most isn't another answer
~ but enough space to hear what is already within us.
Together, we have created a weekend where you don't need to become, achieve, fix, or figure anything out.
A place to be nourished.
To reconnect with the natural world.
To listen to your body.
To gather in the company of other women.
To lay down some of what you've been carrying.
And to remember the resources already living within you ~ and all around you.

Throughout the weekend, our Culinary Alchemist, Eden Love, will nourish us with beautiful seasonal meals ~ thoughtfully sourced and lovingly prepared ~ alongside herbal drinks and small touches of care.
The table is part of the retreat.
It's where we gather.
Where conversation unfolds.
Where warm bowls are placed in front of you.
Where you don't have to plan the menu, shop for the groceries, prepare the meal or clean up afterward.
Your retreat investment includes your accommodations, nourishing meals, and the full Rooted & Resourced weekend experience.

Because sometimes the practical questions matter, too.
What is included in my retreat investment?
Your retreat investment includes your accommodations, nourishing seasonal meals, herbal drinks, and all Rooted & Resourced retreat experiences throughout the weekend.
You'll simply need to arrange your transportation to and from Harvest Hill Homestead & Retreat.
What are the sleeping accommodations?
Harvest Hill offers a variety of sleeping spaces, from shared accommodations to private rooms.
Your retreat investment is based on the accommodation you choose, and each sleeping option is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Because this is an intimate retreat with limited space, we encourage you to register early if a particular accommodation is important to you. Optional Bed/Room Sharing Options available upon request.
Can I come by myself?
Absolutely.
You do not need to know anyone before you arrive. Rooted & Resourced has been intentionally created to offer meaningful connection without pressure or expectation.
There will be opportunities to gather, share, laugh, eat, and connect ~ and plenty of permission to step away, rest, wander, or simply be when that's what you need.
Do I need experience with Human Design, herbalism, breathwork, or embodiment practices?
Not at all. No previous experience is needed.
Everything throughout the weekend is offered as an invitation. You are always welcome to participate, rest, wander, journal, observe, or choose what feels right for you.
There is nothing you need to know or prepare before you arrive.
Can you accommodate dietary needs or food allergies?
We want you to feel well cared for and nourished throughout the weekend. Please share any food allergies or dietary needs with us when you register so we can determine how best to support you.
What should I bring?
Come prepared for cozy indoor time and November in Vermont.
We recommend comfortable layers, warm clothing, outdoor shoes, personal toiletries, a journal, and anything that helps you feel comfortable and at home.
Before the retreat, you'll receive a more detailed Before You Arrive email with everything you'll need for the weekend.
What is the cancellation & refund policy?
Because Rooted & Resourced is an intimate retreat with limited space, your registration reserves a place specifically for you. For this reason, all retreat payments, including deposits, are non-refundable.
We understand that life can bring unexpected changes. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another woman up to 5 days before the retreat, with advance notice and approval from the retreat hosts. This allows us time to accommodate dietary needs, sleeping arrangements, and any other special considerations for your guest.
If Rooted & Resourced is cancelled by the retreat hosts, all retreat payments will be refunded in full.
Is a payment plan or deposit option available?
Yes. You may choose to pay your retreat investment in full or reserve your place with a non-refundable deposit. Your remaining balance must be paid by November 10th, unless alternative arrangements have been made with the retreat hosts.
